    Agree, he brought some good players in, Wilson, Wegerle, I think Bardsley and not bad footabll.

        But Les couldn't finish to save his skin. The amount of bobblers, grass cutters and shinners far outweighed the sweet strikes. Much rose tinted views of Ferdinand tbh.

        Allen, Bannister, Goddard and even Falco were all superior "finishers" than Les - but none could spring as high!
