  • Warnock: 'thanks to the board'

Posted on: Wed 08 Sep 2010

Neil Warnock has expressed his gratitude to the Club's Board of Directors following the closure of the summer transfer window.

The Rangers gaffer has added eight new faces to his squad over the summer months, including the deadline day swoop for Rob Hulse, and speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Warnock said: "It's been one of the most difficult summers of my career, but all the hard work has paid off.

"I've got to thank Amit (Bhatia) and his fellow Directors for their wonderful support over the summer.

"They've supported me every step of the way and now it's up to me to repay their faith with the right results on the pitch."

Lets hope this is just to butter them up and allow him bring a quality striker on loan to the club,as well as Smith.

Interesting, when was the last time our manager thanked the board like this?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

          lol rebel
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

yeah he thanked flavio for sacking him. Can't blame him really as 2 months work for 2 years money, not bad.

Normally, the board issues a public vote of confidence to the manager and then sacks him two weeks later.

This could be an interesting variation on a theme.
