  • Watching the international qualifiers this week and...

To be honest not really that bothered, all im concerned about is saturday and middlesboro.
    Club before Country? Yes indeed

Would you still say you were not bothered if England did not win either match?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Again...This is one of those things. It's far easier for me to say club over country at this moment in time, but whenever we approach a big tourney, my mind always changes.
      Your mum would love me...

On the basis England, Wales, ROI, NI, Scotland, etc, do not play on the same day as QPR, the club v country debate is pointless, as you can have your cake and eat it to.

Not being bothered is a different thing.

Agree with Paul it shouldn't be a comp between the 2 and I think this is a very poor post. How an englishman can't support his country is very sad IMHO. I will also add that last nights game was the best I have seen England play for some time. They played with passion and commitment and quality. Adam Johnson looks like a real star in the making and with a decent young keeper and defoe looking sharp we might have a side to be proud of and we can put these anti england posts to bed. Sorry Dave not having a pop but this post has really got me shaking my head.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

When a german puts on his national shirt, he grows about 10 feet and the fact that he scored 3 goals all season for his club (podolski) means nothing as for them country is comes first. Same is true for the fans.

We seem to be the complete opposite, yet moan when we get knocked out in early stages when germans go on to either win it or progress to latter stages.

Fair play mate you are entitled to your opinion. I just dont get the same buzz as i do on the day of a Rangers game. Give me the option of England winning the World Cup or QPR to win say the FA Cup and my answer will always be the same. QPR all day. When i watch England and see players like Terry, Lampard, Aashley Cole it just makes me want to turn the tele off

I think club v. country becomes an issue when there are injuries. When 2 of your players come back from international duty and are out for a few weeks, how do you feel then?

All this Club v Country stuff doesn't wash with me.
There isn't an either/or choice to be made, so I don't get that.

BUT... as for the current England team, the World Cup was the final straw for me. They were an embarrasment. I can't bring myself to lose any sleep over that mob anymore, I've washed my hands of them, for now.
I'm sick of them bottling it, and allowing the nerves and fear they have to ruin what abilty they have, every two years.
                        Dumb, big-time bottlers.

It's like a woman cheating on you... after a while you draw the line. Especially when she was taken up the a*** by 11 Germans in the summer, in front of everyone.

Prove it in a major tournament, under pressure... and only then will I even begin to have any faith in them again.
