when i was five tears old
my daddy told me a tale never to be told
if mummy asks you did we go to the pub on the way back
you so no mummy ,its far too cold ,and daddy will get the sack

so for the next few years we went to see the hoops,it was always the same
we would score then lose the game
    daddies head bowed with shame
we would hit a pub, cant remember the name

    verse two

    verse two

then along came a broken nosed jewish fella from londons east end
tough as iron,he could cross a ball alright, see that ball bend
he could drop a center onto bedfords head every cross
but still we lost games we always drew or lost

but before rodney lazzer was the king
he could turn a match, scoring two goals every game was his thing
jinking dazzling dribbling skills that would make my dad smile
how this ***disher geezer had lots of style

I hope its not drug related and it is just alcohol, cause deep down dext isn't a bad bloke
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

              no

i thought it was a very evokotive poem actually it tells the true story of how i became a qpr fan,in the old days there wasnt such a thing as drink driving so the very challenge of driving home, was a great theraputic buz.

So my dad would convince my mum that hes going to qpr to be a good father but i had to tell my mum that we only was in the pub for one pint, but my dear old dad used to fall out of the general smuts,as we headed home on the a 40
but mark lazarus was somer player he could use phenominal ball control to play as an orthadox winger, just beating the defender, and putting over a pin point cross,or he could cut inside and crash the ball in the net,he actually played center forward for wolves in the old premeir division.

But he was no barry bridges,he was not obsessed with scoring goals he could both score them or create them, but many of you youngsters dont realise the debt you owe lazarus,HE WAS QUEENS PARK RANGERS,just ask brian bedford who was always the crowd favourite,.
ALSO LAZARUS WAS AN EX BOXER AND WOULD QUITE HAPPILY,ENGAGE A FULL BACK IN AN OPEN BATTLE OF FISTS which i promise you lazarus always won

Hi adopted son.Being that bit older than you (Tony Ingham was left back and captain when I was a boy),I remember when QPR beat Leicester 2-1 and Lazarus ran the whole lenghth of the pitch in just his jock strap after being deprived of his shorts in a tackle, and laid on the winning goal.I remember this moment as if it was yesterday, one of Rangers great characters.

                  blimey

blimey my old **** sparra,i was taken to qpr in 1959 60 season but i have no real recollection of that era,my first memory was ray drinkwater in goal so god only knows when that was. But i remember my dads favourite was always lazarous,i wonder if the fans could bet the club to give him a lovely testimonial.

That would be great.particularly as it was 50 years ago he starred for the R's.
