... to make a mess in East London...!

    Hmmm.... This passed me by!

A spectacular 115-metre twisting asymmetric tower, financed mostly by India's steel tyc00n Lakshmi Mittal, will come up at London's Olympic Park and will be a new icon of British art.

Unveiling the design of the tower at the City Hall yesterday, London's Mayor Boris Johnson said the structure, taller than New York's Statue of Liberty, will be ready by the end of next year.

Mittal, who was also present on the occasion, will contribute £16 million for the tower, which is expected to cost £19.1 million. The rest of the funding will be provided by the London Development Agency

Looks like it is falling already, is it designed after the leaning tower of Piza?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

                  What's it supposed to be?
                  A tribute to Hiroshima?
                  A tribute to 9/11?
Thank Christ it's in East London, I never go there unless I have to, which, I'm glad to say, isn't very often.
And if I ever do go to East London in the future, it won't be to admire the ****in' architecture, I can tell ya.
