  • Its a win, win situation.....

Surly whatever the outcome tonight or tomorrow, both players will still be pulling on the heavenly top. Either, we own them, or we loan them, with a view to buy in January. They'll still be in our squad and scoring goals for us, for what its worth i think both will be ours by the weekend.

Its not a win win because if we loan them then they will miss 3-4 games for us in December.

True, and those games could be vital.

IMO it's only a win situation if buy them.

Yeah 3 to 4 games, but turn that around we have them for 3 months first!

If we would of got it sorted earlier we would have had them for all of the games.

          Your argument doesn't hold up.

3-4 Games eh! That's 9-12 points, not so good when you look at it like that is it?

December is a crucial month. No matter who you play. Alot of games are played around that time which can define your season.

Be positive guys, whos to say we would not have lost them via injuries or suspensions, and we still have fire power without them check the goal difference.

You can say that about any player.

Fact is if we get clearance and we sign them thats a win, if not then we have to loan them and they will miss 3-4-5 games in December, thats not a win.

The goal difference and firepower comment is stupid as if any of these players get injured we don't then have a back up, another reason it is definitely not a win situation, you saw how we were v Port Vale without a few players.

Rather them on loan than not at all? Any who, as i said i think they'll be ours by the weekend (and i don't mean loan).

If they signed on loan today (can't because the loan window is not open) they would miss 4 games. If they signed next Tueday they would still miss 4 games but if they sign next Thursday they would miss 3 matches. All to do with the particular date plus 93 days which is the maximum we could sign them for at this stage.

Of course rather them on loan than not at all, but its not as good for us on loan deals as they will miss 3-4 games as SirPie has said, so its not a win win.

Right, so if we sign them on perms and they miss 0 games, thats as good as signing them on loan and them missing 3-4 key games which could costs us points and ultimately promotion?
