Yeah because Ephraim and Helguson are much better than Hulse and Smith!

If we have to resort to loans, then we should get Hulse in first, and Smith in 2/3 weeks.

Simple reason is we only have 1 good striker at the moment and have enough options in midfield to last without Smith.

When Hulse goes back we can then loan another striker for that month.

Portsmouth need the money and it prevents further bad press around how badly football clubs are run. The FA will sanction it. It's not as if there were hundreds of deals or that sanctioning the deals now creates any unfair advantage. There's got to be a bit of leeway especially if the system is sometimes dependent on a chain of transfers leaving clubs at the end of the chain in danger of losing out.
