ps ive got better things to do than reply .
I'm sure you've posted what you have heard mate, but it doesn't cover all the angles does it.

Whilst what you say might give some explanation to the Smith deal it does in no way shape or form explain the Hulse deal.

I'm now doing something I hate and getting involved in the rumour mongering on transfers due to lack of communication from the club.

If you post something then people have a right to respond, apologies if you don't like my tone but I'm struggling to get my head round how we've had 4 months to sign a striker and we leave it to the last minute of the transfer window.

I understand and share your frustration W12 but consider the various and many parties involved, players, agents, managers, etc. then add in other clubs quering the pitch and there is plenty of opportunites for negotiations to get side tracked. We will never know what/who else NW had in mind and maybye he was holding off on Hulse whilst trying to deal on others. Also we already know that he had missed other targets and that he had 7 strikers on his list.

Whatever NW and QPR wanted it not neccassaily what other clubs/players wanted and with all the various dealings concluded on deadline day then it's no wonder we (and many others) were last minute. Bearing in mind the fees that were (allegadley) negotiated then perhaos NW was guilty of doing some cute dealing and using his vast experience in ensuring that we didn't blow our tats off financially, unlike Liecester for instance who paid well over the odds for an average player (which stinks of desperation)

Anyway take solace in this; NW is our manager Ishan is our Chairman and between these two shrewd and savvy individuals they will get it sorted and your current rantings will soon be forgotten!!

        Come on your Rsssssssssssssssssss

Good post and yes I do agree. I do think the club is trying to be cute with their financial dealings by taking everything to the wire.

At this point in time what I can't get my head round is what was the hold up with the Hulse deal, it had nothing to do with any 'links in the chain' it was a completely independent transfer. Derby had signed a replacement for Hulse on loan by midday on Monday, they knew Hulse was signing for us on the Monday that much is obvious so why hasn't this deal gone through as well?

Sadly whatever happens here the same old faces will continue their tedious vendetta/feud against GP. As soon as anything goes wrong (assuming here that it has gone wron here) he gets the blame - if everything went through smoothly it would have been down to Ishan and NW and they would have said look how great things work without GP involved.

I should have included GP who is, without a shadow of a doubt, slippery as an eel and will also find a way of getting "around" any FL red tape. Not my cup of tea but the man can "manouvere"!

But we were told in no uncertain terms by Pete yesterday that It was Paladini doing all negotiation and dealing with the signing of players.

it was very complicated 8 teams were in limbo till things got sorted out.

I know. It stinks. Also the Arshavin one a couple of years ago. One rule for the big clubs and another rule for the others.
