  • Plan B...

So finally, on the last day of the transfer window, we have got what we all craved. Some strikers, and proven ones.

Hulse and Smith know exactly what this league is about, and both know how to score goals. And to add to that our frontline has literally changed over night. The options we now have is brilliant.

So we now have a PLAN B. Last season under Magilton we constantly got found out, and couldnt respond. Now under Warnock we can. With the players we have we can adapt to different formations at a flick of a switch, and we have strength in depth to cover injuries and suspensions.

To add to that I have a feeling we are not yet finished. I reckon there will be 1 or 2 loans to come in (Roberts?), and a couple to depart (Vine, Agyemang).

I cannot complain about any of our transfer signings. 9 in one summer is great, but to get 9 that will form a great team (which from early signs is looking good) is something very difficult to do. Imo we have the perfect blend of Skill and Hard Tacklers, Leaders and Flair players, Big lumps and Fast runners.

If we dont go up this year, then when can we? This is our best chance in years, and credit must to to the Board for appointing Warnock and backing him.

    Come on you R'ssssssssss!

Very well said and you can add to that an excellent team spirit and as Saturday proved a never say never attitude.
Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

Yes, thats another thing we lacked last season - a team willing to fight for eachother.
