  • Realistically, where do you rank us now?

As NW likes to constantly reminds us, with all these new players its going to take quite some time for them all to settle in, hence why he thinks we're a 6th to 10th rated team.

Since the latest signings I guess he might raise that to a play-off spot now?

    Thoughts?

upper mid table at the moment, but with a bit of luck the last play off place and then lose in the two legs.

      Top 4

Hulse was just the signing we needed, on paper our squad is one of the best and when I look at the likes of Forest, Boro & Leicesters faltering starts to the season you have to start to believe that this will be the season.

Warnock is playing it down big time.

Almost all of these players have worked with Neil Warnock before or know each other.

Therefore, shouldn't take long to settle in.

Smith and Hulse, played up front together at Derby should know each others game.

I honestly think we could get top two but I will say play-offs so I don't get ahead of myself.

Warnock is doing exactly what I expected him to do. He is taking the pressure off of the players.

But Top 6 with our squad. Anything less and we will have underachieved.

I think Warnock will continue to play down our chances, wouldnt surprise if he still keeps saying 'Weve signed X amount of players,it takes time'.

But Warnock must look at this squad and fancy us.

The next four games should be a good indicator.

if we get those 2 firing as they have been in past.

              top 6.

now concerns come with pace the the back.. but depends on luck too.

I agree he's a wily old fox, and is no doubt using a degree of kidology with his statements, however convincing they come across at the time. Even if it doesnt distract attention from us, it must certainly relieve some of the pressure off the players as JudoRanger says.

Top 4 if we get JR, anywhere between 1st and 4th

I think we are more than capable of pushing on without Adel than Sheeps are without bad boy Bellamey

My thoughts exactly, if we can get 7 or more points from these 4 games I will be confident that we can get a top 6 place.

Think Bardiff are on for a top 2 place (as much as I hate to say it) and of the rest I think Ipswich, Naarwich, Leeds and possibly Reading will be up there. Not really worried about anyone else at the moment
18th August 2011. The day we got our Rangers back

If I was a journalist my absolute number 1 question to Neil Warnock would be:

'You said you were 6th - 10th with your current squad. Where do you see QPR now?'

It's just begging to be asked!!!!
                          Be nice to Minty

With the two in yesterday, and maybe one on loan, we must be in with a great shout of top 6. All being well, no serious injuries to key players and a play off spot should be ours.

IMO we need another striker on loan, a left back and a pacy center back for top 2
