  • The Board now prepared to underwrite Paladinis costly transfer dealings off?

Despite costing the club millions and somehow retaining his job the Board must now have agreed to underwrite the cost of Paladinis transfer dealings off to enable our club to move forward.

They have backed the manager, shown ambition in the transfer market and it now appears Warmocks on the verge of cracking it.

Despite having a number of players on long term highly paid contracts some of whom are crocks we still gone out and brought players in. I still believe the likes of Hall, Ageymang, Cook, Vine, Pellicori & Alberti will continue to cost the club something until the end of their contracts but it doesn't matter now as I do believe we will continue to add to the squad and the Board have accepted the situation.

Thank you Amit & Co for saving us from the incompetence of Paladini & Briatore

i personally dont believe it all falls at briatore's door.. yes he is an ego maniac but i also reckon he was ill-advised about what the club need on the pitch.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"

      Looks that way W....

I guess they are between a rock and a hard place.

What Paladini has done has and could have been even more disastorous had we not had a committed board.

As we all know, No other club will take them due to the wages and contract that Paladini handed out, so we are stuck with them having to pay millions out in wages.

Look at the change in signings and contract length and quality of player since that rat has not been involved or anywhere near signing players.

I guess he is happy at having retained a job somehow, but will have to accept there will be no more stuffed envelopes as a bonus, as we now deal professionally with a whole range of agents rather than one.

This is very true also... He was VERY badly advised by people looking to improve their own wealth and worth.

Given recent transfer activity, surely it's now time to thank GP for his work (and despite his faults, I don't think even his harshest critic could deny he's put the hours in) and send him on his way to a comfortable retirement.

Aso long as the loan has been repaid in full to the club then fine.

I've forgotten more than you'll ever know Pete!

First Artist did most of the leg work for Tommy Smith at both ends of the deal. Hill and Derry were done direct. Hulse and Mackie I don't know.

Derry and hill were out of contract, which makes you assumption pretty obvious.
