Is he left-footed though, or just able to play either side?

both rowlands and Cook will be important. Okay, guessing more so Rowlands but to write off two pros who give all for the club is disappointing.

Cook is the only natural left sided player we have and Rowlands when fit will be ahead of Derry

your opinion because rowlands is a fan favourite or is that a warnock statement? ;)

id bet that warnock will choose derry over rowlands.

A lot has been said for Rowly and Cook not playing again because of injury, but the same was said of Danny maddix, he was knackered but had an operation, saw a Faith Healer (Hoddles eileen) and `Hey Presto` He was healed. He went on to play for 5 more years. They`ll be back.

Having spoken to both players on thefolf day today -

Rowlands is very hopeful of making the squad for Middlesboro. He played 60 mins in Resses this week and no ill affects.

Cooky is looking at 5 weeks to be in the same place, 2 before stepping up traing to whetr Rowly is now.

That said I've a hunch NW likes Rowly, but perhaps Cookie less so. Based on end of last season and only my opinion.

But injury updates both from the horses mouths. Honestly.

I actually agree with Pete here.

Ok I need to watch Derry and I know he has been impressive of late but I definately think Rowlands could push for his place. Martin will also score goals and offer you something going forward. Faurlin is a cracking player but won't get u many goals. Rowland has the ability to strike a ball. I rate him and I also see Cook as an important squad player if he can get fit. Also he has a great left foot and Hulse will thrive off Cookies crosses.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Ain't it great to be arguing about who should get in the team instead of what a rubbish squad full of loan players we have?

Ridiculous statement. Any professional footballer should give their all for their employer. Any footballer that doesn't give 100% for their club doesn't deserve the privilege of being a footballer.

Funny how pretty much everyone agrees Vine has to go because he hasn't recovered from injury sufficiently and is one of our highest earners, yet many seem to feel Cook a fellow high earner should stay despite not being fully fit in about 4 seasons now.

Some will say he deserves to stay as he gave the club £250k, however he's earnt much more than £250k sitting on the physios table on a contract he'd never have earnt anywhere but QPR

yeah it is a lovely feeling to have some strength in depth at last.

Our midfield is just sensational and to think we might have rowland and buzz on the bench is just quite incredible.

He's still only 28. How some can write him off already is beyond me.
