NW is building a squad for promotion from the championship. if that happens, then more investment would be needed to stay up in the prem. its impossible to build a team or squad at the moment that is capable of competing in the Prem as we are unable to attract the players required whilst we are still in the championship.

Austin is admittedly a good young player. PLAYING AT SWINDON. not the prem. Good as he is, buying Charlie Austin doesn't suddenly mean we can compete with chelsea.

And no, at 33 i am too young to have seen Stan play. Though not sure what that has anything to do with your original post at all.

Dude. I was the only bluddy qpr fan in my town growing up as a kid. Least u got some better memories than i have! I got 2 losing cup finals and a div 2 runners up. not great. but i honestly, for the 1st time in my life, geniunely believe we have the best chance ever in getting back to the prem.
NW is THE BEST thing to happen to the R's in effing years.
I understand want to see young exciting players at HQ but its the old wise war dogs that get you out that league. Once we go up (fingers crossed) we can invest in some youngsters for the squad. we would be a far better attraction to any player when we are plying our trade in the prem.
keep the faith... unless you plan on kicking the bucket soon, you might just get to see one more promotion.
