Is getting silly.

I'm not on anyone's "side", but moderators need to learn to moderate and not start slanging matches.

Rant over, infraction points expected, but you know I'm just stating facts.

Sorry Toni I've been offline for a few days until half an hour ago so not sure what this is about. The mods are all human beings and all passionate people. We aren't paid to do this job and we will all make mistakes. If you have either a problem with a moderator or with a particular issue feel free to PM a moderator.

As I've said a number of times I am completely independent of any cliques and do not take sides. I have my own opinion which sometimes differs from others and one day I'll argue with you until the cows come home over an issue and the next I'll agree with you on a different issue but I'm not here to defend or argue you with anyone either as par for the course or unneccessarily.

As for points these are only given out if you've broken the rules.

If you are happy for the subject to close this time then I'll just lock the thread but please feel free in the future to either start a new thread or PM directly if you have any issues at all. As a moderator I don't want to be tarnished with the same brush but at the same time I will help the other mods out because it isn't as easy as it seems. I was a member of this board for best part of two years before becoming a mod and couldn't understand the decisions being made but when you become one and see the rubbish that goes on you see a whole different side to the mods. Never met any of them but they all are decent hard working people who have to put up with some stuff which is often unbelievable and as I said will make mistakes because they after all are only human and being a board which is open 24/7 you can come on when tired, angry or drunk and do or say something which goes unnoticed as a member but is highlighted because we are mods.

P.S. Whatever the issue was just remember we are top of the league and any petty squabble on a messageboard can't take that feeling away of being first.

What you get is coupld of posters who get off on winding others up. Once they are gone, we can revert back to how it couple of weeks ago. No coincidence when we banned a few it all calmed down, unfortunately some were banned until August and its all flared up again.

If you are referring to the exchanges between myself and Terry Ball and W12 Ranger, then please allow me to explain.

Firstly, if you read the thread from the start, you will see that Terry, as usual, has once again used a rather sarcastic, unpleasant manner, to have a go at someone who did not start the thread, but simply commented on it. This was not necessary and I am sure that if his intended recipient of constant jibes was in fact yourself, you would have cause to be unhappy about it.

All I have done is responded in a similarly sarcastic manner, in the hope that Terry (and anybody else for that matter), can see that it is not a good way to behave.

As you are no doubt aware, there are a set of guidelines as to how people are expected to behave on here. Not because anybody has some sort of controlling desire, but in an effort to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy the site for what it is, rather than a platform to abuse some people and indulge in pointless sniping. Unfortunately, there are those that seem either unable or unwilling to grasp this concept, hence these ridiculous arguments start.

As unprofessional as it may seem to you, I am more than prepared to defend others from personal attacks on here, just as strongly as I would away from here. I will continue to do so should I see fit.
