is it time for him to start a match to give us a bit more quality?

I can recall 1 maybe 2 good Buzsaky performances last season. As I said you can't drop a player because of of one poor performance given he has played so well up to now, thats just daft.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Off the top of my head, Barnsley, Preston, Reading, Palace, were all excellent performances. But, hey, keep that anti-Buz nonsense going. How many good performances did Ephraim have last season - 0? And how did he play against Port Vale.
Any I don't think Ephraim should be dropped anyway. If Buz comes in, he should come in for Derry, because we need options in midfield if the opposition close down Taarabt.Last edited by stanleymarsh; 29-08-2010, 12:18 PM.

OK, based on this season let me ask you the same question from a different angle.
What has Buzz done when coming on, that warrents him taking someones elses place in a team that has scored 11, let in 2, won 3 and drawn 1.
I like Buzz and love seeing him play but this is a team game. To drop one person on the basis from i can see on another one reputation alone is totaly wrong. It will soon kill team sprit, look like the managers has favourites and send a message to the others, there is no competition as regardless how well you play your be dropped after one performance.
What needs to happen is simple- When Buzz come on as sub he needs to shine, change the game and show the boss he number one. For me this season, he played well but no where near as good as he should have been and no where good enough to take another mans slot. One for all.... and all for one

Have you got him on a dartboard?
Amazing that you believe positive postings can only be from "sad fans", whereas your ridiculous negative ones you pretend are in some way reasonable analysis. How deluded are you?
And are you seriously suggesting that Buzz and Hogan are really subjected to the same level of criticism? Hogan played well v Sheff U, OK v Barnsley (don't dare suggest he set up the second goal when his cross was straight at the keeper who dropped it) and well v Scunthorpe. He was dreadful v Port Vale, where he didn't have Taarabt and Faurlin supplying him.
"1 or 2 good performances last season" - thanks for your input

I think Mackie or Ephraim are the only possible replacements for Buzz. Faurlin and Derry cover the back line and have an understanding. Yesterday was poor all round so you can't change them on that basis.
Personally I would stick with the side with Buzz as sub, if anyone deserves to be replaced by Buzz though I would edge towards Ephraim.
