Is it really, don't think so.

They haven't beaten us at home in 20 years and we have taken 7 pts in the last 3 seasons

I think other teams will read the reports on yesterdays game re our midfield and we will now have a harder time (the test now begins). Should be interesting.

totally agree Dan, I'd rather be QPR than Stoke.
Warnock is gonna take us there, people who complain are either idiots, or women.

I can see both sides here. I do see voiceofreasons point and concerns.

Warnock is a clever man though and that's why he made the substitutions and ultimately that's the reason we got a draw. He changed our shape and it changed the game.

Regarding the sides we have beaten already and whoever refered to the sides we have beaten as "relegation candidates" is surely a little harsh, especially as all 3 of those sides won yesterday!

Warnock will sign a little more quality to give us options and we will to alright this season. Top 6 should be realistic.

Had Derby been more professional and run the ball into the corners then they'd have won, so in reply to the original question - yes, and NW will defnitiely have learnt from that. And NO, the teams we've played so far are NOT "relegation candidates".

Thats one of the problems we had last season, teams worked out how to beat us and we didnt have plan B.

That is until Warnock came alone, played *****in and got the team to start to work hard closing down for your right to play. At the moment this is the 1st game its happened, Tarbs needs to learn to play with kind of attention and with Derry and Warnock around him i feel its only a matter of time before he does. Aslo it now down to the others to make the most of the space that tarbs creates but i would expect hopefuly after the signings that we will have then have a plan to change ot tactics.

Also i didnt think both our goals yeasterday were through the nice passing footbal we have been playing, bit a lot more physical and direct, which is a plan B in my eyes.

                Clearly not as we drew!

Must admit that I wondered why we (a) didn't try and bypass the packed midfield by getting the ball out wide or (b) just hoof it over the top of the midfield or (c) some other approach that I'm not technically minded enough to come up with. S'pose you could argue that we adopted (b) above in the end to score.
One thing though, what Derby did is easier said than done and it was pretty obvious they were running out of puff at the end - their two centrebacks were dead on their feet going into added time.

Don't think many clubs will follow suit or have a motivated player like Savage to man mark. he clearly relishes the challenge and I cannot believe he was loaned out to Brighton 2 seasons ago!!

Yes, other clubs might try it, but doubt it will work as good as Derby play it.

It wasn't that savage market out adel other key players had off days too, if too many people have off days we'll struggle but so wil any team

I think Faurlin and Derry had an off day, and I get the feeling Taarabt was psyched out/intimidated by Savage in some way (verbally?).
That's not going to happen too much, so I'm not too worried.
Two weeks now for the players to contemplate how well they did in the last 5 minutes, which will set us up, hopefully, to annihilate Boro.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
