  • Banned From QPR?

Talking to a guy on the train on the way back from Derby, he told us that he was ejected from ground in 2nd half because they said he was alleged to have made w#nker signs and other "gesturing" signs towards Derby fans, Steward said "we`re ejecting you, You`re lucky if it was outside you`d be arrested,, the police put him in a holding cell under stand.. They took his details and will inform QPR about what happened, He was unsure whether club can ban him from club and revoke his season ticket? He has never been ejected or arrested at football in the 30 odd years of him going, he seemed a nice bloke. The stewards were really heavy handed i thought today.

Any body ever had experience of this or been vitim to it themselves?

Yes they can ban him. But what I would do if I was him would be ring QPR asap and tell his side of the story and add that he really sorry.

Been the victim! thats a great way to described a pissed up lout making threatening signs at the opposition fans

The geezer must have been 40 odd years by the sounds of it, he deserved to be thrown out for making cut throat signs, what a donut

Got chucked out of Brentford once for doing Knees Up Mother Brown from the back of the terrace.

I'm afraid that's the closest I've ever come to criminality.

I don't the person who could say your ban. All I am saying if you say your side of the story first they may not ban him.

That's way OTT. I got banned 10 years ago for throwing a missile onto Craven Cottage and deserved it as a young ***** but for hand gestures that's a joke. Chances are the Derby fans were doing the same so are they gonna ban him, especially as he made said gestures in the stadium where the ban would take place...?

missile = empty plastic bottle of coke by the way, but the judge wouldn't listen to my reasoning that a missile & a bottle of coke are very different....lol

I've heard fans protest their innocence so many times yet when you see them inside the ground their behaviour can be a bit of an embarrassment. This fan must have been giving it large all game and probably had a number of warnings and probably told the stewards to **** off in the process.

If the police threw him out he probably deserved it, I've never been thrown out a match neither have my mates, we all like a laugh but some supporters use football matches as an opportunity to act like i.diots, no sympathy.

A bunch of R's were fighting with each other and a few got thrown out part way through first half. Shame.

Around 1981 we played palace at home. I stood in the top middle of the old loft, and was well know at the time also an early (Pete singing wise) one of my mates told me the old bill were ponting me out. so i moved to the front with a few mates right very low down to avoid them. we scored and i jumped as everyone did. 3 of them jumped me nearly broke my arm was handcuffed arrested spent 5 hours in the nick went to court and got bound over to keep the peace for a year WHAT THE ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
