    Speaking of hand gestures.....

Luton's Manager, Richard Money, appears to have upset their travelling fans at yesterday 3-1 defeat at Tamworth (Yes, that's TAMWORTH and YES, that's THREE-1 !)
Seems he made a lengthy w@ankers sign to the away end and followed it up with a double 'V' gesture (with BOTH hands).

Went on for about 10 seconds in all and the whole end was incensed, as are those on the message board who didn't go.
Calling for his head and everthing. Funny as ****.

So, how would we react if NW, or any R's Manager did the same ?
Entitled to their opinion, free speech, or how dare you Sir !?!?!?!

I know the fella and he doesnt drink, why assume he was drunk? Sometimes when caught up in the emotion and other fans giving it constantly, it is hard to bite the tongue. This is what happens when expectations are high as well, 100% start to a season and then find ourselves losing 0-2 to Derby. Football is life to some people, although I've started to learn my lesson, I've had four bans totalling 9 and a half years, not very fun. I put my hands up and say booze had a lot to do with it, but I'm sober now, and hey no more trouble.

Because 99% of football fans ejected from football grounds usually are drunk.

The fact that he can't use drink as an excuse makes the situation even worse. A stone cold sober middle aged man getting wound up to the point of being ejected from a football ground by the opposition fans. Come on! Why doesn't he just learn some self control and watch the football.

As I said before I've only ever seen people acting like i.diots thrown out the Rangers in 25 years, granted there maybe exceptional cases, I've just never seen them.

With all due respect I don't need a lesson on the emotions you go through as a football fan I do know what its all about. Won't get no sympathy of me mate, apologies.

So by your reasoning you feel that Dave Thomas deseved to be ejected from Brammall Lane a few seasons ago for selling AKUTRS at halftime or refused entry to Hillsborough?

Lets hope you never get to sit on a jury as you would demand hanging before you even stepped in the courtroom!

OK looking at this from an outsider, I see your point, but if you knew the bloke, you would not be saying this. Call it a lapse in behaviour for a split second, one thing I know is the guy loves Rangers and I just hope he doesn't get banned. Anyhows he would of been nicked at Derby if they thought he was out of order.

The bloke is grateful for the support he`s been getting on here, and a little surprised by the narrow mindedness of some, but that`s life. As already stated the bloke has NEVER been ejected or arrested from football game EVER. If you did know him the bloke is a decent amiable guy who don`t drink and Rangers loving season ticket holder. I wonder if the Club are going to Over react to this

How can you compare selling a football fanzine to making intimidating throat cutting gestures at the opposition fans?

Anyway last time I see you at a football match you were giving it large to Cardiff fans with a mob of about 50 QPR fans being held back by police by Denham House. Not exactly responsible behaviour

Look I don't think he should get banned, it just amazes me every time one of these threads appear all the excuses and examples come out, bottom line is the vast majority of football fans ejected from football grounds is due to them misbehaving as with your mate.

Its like the people pleading the innocence or justifying the actions of other fans must think the rest of us have never been to a football match before and see what goes on.

See my post on page 1 mate, I had never been in trouble before either, one mad moment and I was banned for 3 years. The only positive was I missed the 3 seasons in League 1 and was back in March 2004 when we beat Wrexham 2-0 at home and were on the way to automatic promotion!

A word of warning to your mate. If he decides to try going if he gets a ban (I didn't) tell him not to pay in the box office by credit card. I went and bought a ticket by credit card about a month after my ban had ended and it came up on the system and caused a long queue outside before they removed me from the Banned list.....
