hes 31 in october, my maths were wrong.
would have him cos hes experienced, but would still rather not have either and get le fondrue.
furlong was a miracle, they never happen twice to us.
when injuries start at that age, they keep on coming. we all know that.
aint moaning about no signings, im not like that. i would just prefer to not have players coming here to retire, i dont think thats the way forward. it hasnt worked before, why will bringing another two in to do that now?

I agree Furlong was a one off but Le Fondre is just a big a risk as Hulse's fitness is. At least when Hulse is fit we know that we are guaranteed both experience and goals. Le Fondre may or may not be a success in the Championship but we have no evidence either way that he'll make the step up. It took a long time for the likes of Eastwood and Sharp to be a success at this level and Jermaine Easter flopped although he was successful in lower divisions. If Le Fondre was deemed to be one for this level then why haven't one of the bigger sides in this division snapped him up like WBA did with Simon Cox?

As for the link that was three and half years ago and as I've already pointed out he's played nearly 90% of the matches since.

I only met pete recently but have known moon and walkonby for a long time neither claim to be in the know but both pass on good info which is interesting it's a good time to be an rs fan and it's a message board and I apreciate their efforts, people shot down moon about Walters bit out of order as benny called it too, walkonby said he'd put his house on it and warnock said it had all been agreed too and was gutted so seems harsh! I know that he does it in good intent and doesn't have an ego issue.
The latest Info from moon is where I got my info about hulse and Roberts and looks solid, but already people have shot this down, wanting to share exciting news and get accused of trying to give it large, I do think if people wanted to give if large they would try a bit harder than lording it on a fans forum.

So hooperman immediately says it made up just one example. Why would anyone bother ?

Anyway seems others are also hearing about the rumour! Lol w12 even said something ridiculous like we all know walkonby started the rumour, I'm pretty sure him and moon got the info seperately, but even if he did is it a competition that is sad.

W12 even slated it yesterday but then today said he had heard it himself!

The thing that pisses me and alot of others off is the way certain posters have to keep starting new threads to discuss transfer targets. Roberts has been doing the rounds for weeks and has been reported in several newspapers, yet new threads are started everyday and incorrect signing days are given much to everyones disappointment. Hulse is a new one for many (several of us were aware he was on warnocks radar thursday) but unlike some I don't feel the need to flex my ego and start a new thread, if it happens it happens. Maybe the mods could discuss just having one thread for each transfer target then post all "updates" in there... Just an idea
