To be honest, on paper all of Warnock's signings with the exception of Taarabt haven't inspired me that much.
Now I have actually had the opportunity to see them play for us I would say that all of them with the exception of Leon Clarke are definitely better than what we had before.
The point I am trying to make is that Warnock is no mug and if he thinks that Rob Hulse and Jason Roberts are good enough to get us promoted then I will bow to his superior knowledge!

oh im warnocks biggest fanboy, and do trust in him. but i dont think hulse is enough, get roberts first and then hulse and i would be typing a different story.
would still rather buy the 24 year old le fondrue tho. everyone whos anyone says hes in a league two divisions below his talent. id be certain if we brought him for 3 million and sold him in 3 years we would get 15 to 20 million. if i was loaded like our owners, i would go all out for the up and coming prospect. makes sense on so many levels.
hulse is another player (and roberts while im at it) that we would never ever sell on. he/they would be here till we let them go for #### all like vine etc, and thats another stone wall fact.

hes 32 and injured now. thats the start of the slippery slope at that age.
we should of brought him 2 years ago when he played all them games.
im sick of buying strikers whos last ever move is here.
why do we need veterans all the time, is it to make sure our five a side team for wembley will always be strong in the next year or what?

Should we have not signed Paul Furlong because of his age?
Would you not sign Jason Roberts who is 2 years older than Hulse?
Name me one striker who has never been injured?

Surprised to see such a negative post from GTP.

hes 31 in october, my maths were wrong.
would have him cos hes experienced, but would still rather not have either and get le fondrue.
furlong was a miracle, they never happen twice to us.
when injuries start at that age, they keep on coming. we all know that.
aint moaning about no signings, im not like that. i would just prefer to not have players coming here to retire, i dont think thats the way forward. it hasnt worked before, why will bringing another two in to do that now?
the new rowan vine anyone?
