  • Who are the worst 2 signings you can remember!

    For me

    1) Mike Sheron- big money, big expectation just never seemed interested!
    2) George Kulscar - just rubbish no quality and tackled as many rs players as the opposition

    Ned Zelic and Rachid Harkouk!
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

There are a lot of disapointing signings but it's the reason for the disapointment, sheron was one of the signings that broke the club financially and eventually took us into admin and years in the wilderness so each disapointment has it's reason. Kulscar was the most pointless player I saw ! Just didn't do anything!

              Eric Sabin
Staff Moore (signed by Mrs Holloway)
              Warren Barton
              Dean Sturridge
              Brent Angell
              Armel
              The Pelican

These all spring to immediate attention - but there are many more!

I will never forget the time, he put the ball in the net away at Grimsby, Eric Sabin!

After he scored when he ran to the support I was holding Marucs Bean going mental and he said get rid of me as I will get my 5th booking of the season. I didn't care. Anyway as the celebrations finished he turned around and the ref showed him the yellow card and he was out the next game. Ha ha

if he wouldnt have scored that we would have been play offs and maybe not promoted

One for us old boys anyone remember Brian Williams how bad was he ?
And Karl Ready who at QPR thought he could play? I know he`came up through the ranks but that makes it even worse, it means we signed him as a junior and again as a senior !!!
