Id rather Helguson up top than Varney.

Pointless signing, he's no better than the other strikers we have.

maybe Agyemang is hitting that barn door in training?

Also you add Pellicori's blistering pace and we have a real strike force on our hands.

Bellamy v pellicori in a 60 yard sprint would be interesting. I'd say the pellican edges it.

Anyway we have 3 working days to sign someone so whats the fuss about?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

i have a feeling its gonna be varney and roberts. varney likely on a perm roberts on loan.

its coming to the time now where we need something
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
        Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

I find it strange that warnock was nearly having one off the wrist at the start of the season because of the 'budget' that he had to spend to build his own team, now it seems that's too much, this is too much,I think we'd haggle over a packet of tea bags at the moment......

I just hope roberts wants to come home, because it won't be for the money.

Scotland at ipswich will make them a real force but so would Roberts with us, here's to hoping and I predict we sign him with 30secs remaining of the transfer market or we are to late and we use that wonderful loan system.

Very true although the taste is good, I heard they thought tetleys was out of our budget. Although rumour has it you can find a couple of bags hidden in the c club.

Question... Is he still at Derby ? If the answer is yes, then if Derby have a striker crisis, why are they willing to let him go ?

Nigel Clough said he is one of their top earners and they need to move him on to bring in his own players.

Don't think cloughs playing him because he's one of the higher earners at the club and don't want to risk him getting injured so he can get him off the wage bill to another club.

But that still doesn't hide the fact that Derby don't want him, if he was good enough they would want to keep him.
