  • Derby Parking?

First game of the season due to holiday, can anyone help with the best place to park for easy access to the ground and to get away sharpish ?

    Cheers in advance

Last year we stayed at the Travelodge just over the road, and when we went outside to walk to the ground, people were paying in their car park, which is on a pay and display basis. You can turn left out of it straight onto the A52 which leads straight up to the M1 -- but there are queues inevitably to get on the M1.
Not a big car park, so you need to get there fairly early.

And of course, that's assuming they still let people park there.

          Car parks all around Derby.

If you want to get parking free get there around 130, road that goes up the hill opposite the ground near pub (cannot remember which one think its a witherspoons), but it does fill up after the time stated.

I would suggest parking at the Burger King on an industrial estate about 10 mins walk from the ground. They usually charge £5.

            See link below.

You could`ve parked your car in between the Derby defence last year they were so bad. Chances are the same again on Saturday. Pull up to the gates on saturday about 2.55pm, you should find a space then.

I suspect those spaces have already been reserved by Adel, Hogan, Mackie etc. etc.
