How many other teams (before cheque book football)had that many international players in their first team?
        Happy Days indeed!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

        2015/2016, average at best.....

        2016/2017, same old, same old....

        2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Great one, all the old boys there from around the time i started going, Bowles, Clement, Parkes, Webb etc, just one question though, does anyone else think that looks like Clive Allen in the front row, surely not, this is the early 70s.

          NPower Champions 2010/2011

Yes it looks like Clive but he would only be a lad when that photo was taken

The more you look at the team the memories start flooding back. Imagine that team today
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Venables and Evans went to Palarse in exchange for Don Rogers, what a player he was, but we were that good he could'nt command a first team place
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

I was going to say Phil Nutt. Happy days indeed, I will never forget going to that final away day at Norwich, 2 specials from Wembley and Queens Park. Virtually the whole away end emptied and was sitting head in hands on the grass bank outside after the 'offside goal' that effectively put paid to the title.

I had that poster too, or something very like it from "Shoot!" It has to be roughly '73, or '74. That admiral kit was the business, saw a fan wearing one a few seasons back, I think my dad got me one for Christmas 73/74, I seem to remember it was boxed, shirt, shorts, socks, it was the dog's ******.
Wish I had it now, not that it would fit me.

I think you are right about the poster coming from Shoot. With the players there, those missing and Jago at the helm it has to be the start of the '73/74 campaign in my withered old memory?
