      Before 1976.

      Dave Thomas joined in 1972.
      Mancini in '71.
      McLintock in '73.

I still think the pic was from about 1974.

It has most of the 76 squad in it. However, is that Terry Venables on the other side of McLintock? If so, he had gone by 74 0r 75 I think?

Tinged with sadness to know that Mick Leach and Dave Clement are no longer with us. As far as I know all the rest are still OK.

Yep, Venables left QPR for Croydon Athletic in 1974.

According to the historical football kits site that could be the 74/75 kit...

My first game came the following season, and what a game... I seem to remember that i could only get into the school end as every where else was sold out... As i was so small the liverpool fans kept pushing me towards the front so i could see

August 16th 1975: QPR-Liverpool 2-0 (Francis, Leach).A great day for great football. That Francis goal was later voted goal of the season.
                          We got our Ranger's back!

Who is the Number 2 keeper next to Phil PArkes and did he ever play for Rangers?

Got to be 1974, I'm sure Venables left before the start of 75-76 season?

Definitely pre October '74. So more than likely, the July/August of that year.

The big clue being that Gordon Jago was still manager.

The lads in the front row with diffrent shirts on are QPR youth team ..... I think! Can only make out one of them, in front of Terry Venables, looks like Tony Tagg. But the one who rocked my socks .... dead centre of the back row ... Martyn Busby! But for that broken leg he suffered at Craven Cottage, Martyn would have been a full England International ..... most of us who are old enough to have seen him play will agree that he would have been better than Gerry ..... and that's saying something!
