    I blame Championship Manager games.

I'd love a good prolific centre forward to add to what we have... but I wouldn't swap our midfield, our manager, our team spirit, our ability to entertain, or our owners for anyone in this league.
No, we haven't got everything in place yet, and it's been frustrating to wait this long for "THE" striker.... but Warnock knows that.

If HE thought we were the finished article, then I'd worry.

I'm not sure what you mean by that mate?

If that's aimed at me...Well, I agree. That was not me moaning about our sittuation, but at those who are still finding a negative as things stand.

Not aimed at you mate. I was being sarcastic with the first bit. I agree 100% with what you were saying. I was taking the p.iss out of those that are complaining. How could we be sailing any better than we are now? Sure 2 strikers would be nice but I'd rather be top and know NW is looking for some strike power.

No problem mate...I just wasn't sure, so I thought I'd clear it up.
Sarcasm is hard to see on forums

Premiership clubs do not have to name their 25 man squads until after the window closes so they are not certain of all the players they looking to farm out or sell. We can still get players in on loan after 1-9-10 so lets wait and see. Or should we get s*** players like Marcus Bent or Tamas Priskin then the moaners will have a field day.

Don't get me wrong I am ecstatic at our start. PERFECT is the only word for it.

That does not mean that it will stay like that for the whole season. Most teams will be Scunny and Barnsley at home, Sheff Utd was a bit of a freak result.

Come 01/09 our squad will be finalised for 4 months (half the season.) Take Tarrabt out the side and with those forwards we will be mid table at best, trust me. Even our own manager has said so.

We have 6 days to get someone in to give us a realistic chance of promotion. If we don't all optimism will cease on here.

the difference is that last season we struggled to beat the likes of scunny and barnsley.
you can only play and beat whats in front of you and so far we are doing that.

Forest - Earnshaw, McGoldrick, Blackstock, Adebola and Tyson

Middlesboro - Lita, Boyd, MacDonald, and Miller (Scotland Intl)

QPR - Helgusson, Pellicori, Vine and Agyemang

I said this on another thread.....

I believe Cardiff will be docked points before the seasons out.

And then the FAW will overturn it!
