Not at all Pete. I rate him, but I'd rather stick with HH than bring him in. Having HH, Roberts and Best is pointless, so instead of going with the followers, I prefer to think about the whole team. Varney adds an extra dimension to our game which Best can't. Best has had one small spree of scoring when at Coventry, then nothing special for Newcastle.
Varney at least managed to score 11 league goals in a shocking side.
Rather le fondre or austin than best, and then sign a kitson or roberts. Le fondre or austin would add a different dimension, whilst best is the same as HH.

Agree benny. I'd rather give HH a go all season than have best in
1. poor player other than a small spee at Coventry
2. Think he's getting on a little to much but he might do well by dropping a league (paul furlong )
3. Poor record-injured a lot
4. dont get me started
I'm going to ask a simple question; how do people know how great or rubbish other teams players are unless they watch them week-in week-out? I can vaguely understand if it was a Premiership player since the teams are shown regularly on live matches and also extended highlights, but if the player is in our division or lower and you do not go to watch their team, nor on TV, how do you base your opinions?
