    No Kitson?

Must have been those big wages that were the stumbling block again in that case.

Any idea on who we have lined up? Kamara? Roberts?

Good to see Borrowdale has given up persuing his dream of being a top-class footballer.

I didn't expect him to get involved in West-End musicals though, but good luck to him
      Your mum would love me...

This is starting to worry even me now - deadline day deals stink of desparation and with the hours NW's been putting in he ought to have a whole new team signed by now!

          hahaha very good Benny
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I don't know I would have minded signing Berbatov, Arshavin or Robinho

Or that a better player from the prem has come in to reckoning, without having the break the wage structure. A lot of very good players will not be in the prem clubs 25 man squads, but it is a dangerous game waiting for the right man.

Fair point SirPie but they are a very rare breed wouldn't you say?

I'm also putting it in context of NW chasing 2 players for such a long time, them falling through last minute and him still needing 2 strikers with the window closing. I am a believer but could still see a panic buy happening if he lost out on his big catch by the end of this week say?

Warnock's targets are very much in place, he obviously missed out on Walters.

After today, think Kitson was just paper talk

QPR are ready to offer £2 million for Stoke City striker Dave Kitson.

The Mirror says Neil Warnock is ready to save Kitson from his Stoke nightmare with a £2million bid.

QPR boss Warnock wants to offer Kitson an escape route as he bids to power up his promotion *challenge at Loftus Road.

Kitson has been training with the Potters youth team this summer will be allowed to quit the Britannia Stadium.

He was the club’s record buy of £5.5m two seasons ago but Tony Pulis is prepared to cut his losses on the former Reading star.

But Pete - if they are in place why the fark don't they get the contracts signed and let the money go - before some big fat bully comes along and makes a mess of it?
