We cannot sort anything out, I wonder if the people responsible, thinking Paladini and his team, are just useless and closing a deal.
I know that the done deal threads are often bs but many are realistic on here yet nothing ever gets confirmed.
Warnock has been searching for a striker since May, surely the richest club in the Championship, with top manager should be attractive for players at our level, especially as we have started so well.
Just to clarify we have missed out on Ched Evans, Gary Hooper, Walters, Chopra, Roberts, Kitson, Tommy Smith, Ambrose, Speroni, Clyne, and many many others.
Please can someone tell me why????
Kitson and Roberts are still on the cards according to some threads on here and other sources at Talk Sport.
Palace were asking allot of money for Clyne and Speroni, so Neil looked elsewhere and picked up Kenny cheaply and arranged a swap deal for Orr, who's looked great. I don’t think we will miss Stewart at all as Matty C was impressive on Saturday.
Ambrose was almost a done deal but Warnock knew his limitations and thought that he was not worth more than what we offered - He knew himself that he should probably try to stay at palace as he had his best season in his career last year - Maybe he didn't want to risk losing his form by joining us. Our midfield is looking strong and full of goals so only time will tell on this one.
Tommy Smith is linked to us every transfer window - no comments were made by us or PFC regarding him. He has a habit of moving to sinking ships throughout his career so getting him might have spelt the end. - I suspect this was paper talk from day one.
Cardiff want what they paid for Chopra back and he does have a tendency to throw his toys out of the pram. I suspect Neil looked at him and thought that he could bring in just as big an impact player for a quarter of the price! We have a great team spirit at the moment and a player like chopra could upset that.
Walters was very close to signing but we bottled the move south as he feels much better up north - says it all really and for the reported fee I don't think we really missed out but Neil was gutted with this, so I guess this will spur him on this week into signing at least two more. - Could be a blessing in disguise
Gary Hooper wanted to stay up north and ever moved further north - again, says it all for his aspirations. Any player that decides to play in the SLP needs to have a look at Middlesborough where some of their league’s top stars are moving south to prove their class.
Ched Evans has not really impressed yet and he went for a couple of mil, so not cheap. I would rather Kitson who's proven at this level.
I suspect Neil is currently shopping for icing sugar and a bowl as the cake will have its topping by the end of next week. Then we should be able to sit back and have a real go at automatic promotion with a little left in the kitty for some January action.
I really pleased with all the additions this year and hope they push on and strengthen the team and our push for the Premier League.
See you on Saturday!

keep on slagging us off, enjoy every moment and every spiteful word you type, cos us real fans we will be there when we play chelsea next season, we will be there when the ground is full to three times capacity with all the london reds.
you lot can stay at home saying
'getting to the premiership has ruined our little club, we are going to go bankrupt cos of it, why did those tosspot indians spend so much money jsut to get us to the false promised land.'

Good response.
I have to say have a look at the business Cardiff have done this season and Forest the season before. It all happens so quickly and smoothly for them, but not for us and Cardiff are close to administration. They've now got Bellamy, Chopra, Boothroyd and Keogh.
I'll be amazed if they don't steam roller the division now. We are not in their league despite us signing some decent players in the summer.:drunk:

In your opinion how many goals combined will Helgusson, Agyemang, Vine and Pellicori get us this year?:drunk:
