all the above yes and I think Helguson can be a good squad player but he still misses to many chances for me and we should look for better to lead our line. Pleased he is doing much better under Neil though.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I just named these lads, with Ephraim in for Hall as the players who have performed above some of our biggest sceptics predictions.

Also, I wouldn't put Hall in as he's hardly played, so he's doing exactly what many said...getting crocked.
      Your mum would love me...

The only one i didn't want or as you class it 'gave stick to' was Derry but not because he was pants but because i've just never liked him. I've always seen him as a poor mans
Savage but i'll admit he's winning me over slowly.

looking good so far for all of them....bit fed up watching HH miss sitters but he took that second goal superbly so cant get on his case.

It all just goes to prove why us lot are amateurs and should leave the pros get on with making the tough decisions. Fans can be way too quick to judge a player without giving them a chance as proved by the large amount of posters on the MB's now eating humble pie with comments like "Happy to be proved wrong", "he's slowly winning me round" "perhaps I was too harsh" etc etc..

I was one of the supporters who was happy with the signings of Derry and Hill. I put my kneck on the line when they signed and said they were exactly the types of players we never had last season. We needed players who wasn't pretty who grafted. Derry has been quite superb, tireless on the pitch and Hill has been as solid as I expected.

The player so far who I am most pleased with though out of all our signings has been Orr. Think he has been superb in every game he has played. Obviously Taarabt has been exceptional too, but maybe I am a bit spoilt with regards to him as I've come to expect the performances he is putting in. For years now we have struggled at left back and right back and now finally those positions have been addressed we are looking a different side. It will be interesting to see how Hill holds out against the likes of Nathan Dyer and Scott Sinclair when we play Swansea. That is when I think our full backs will show their true colours.

Based on 2 home games so far - not the Sheffield Utd game as did not go there.

Kenny: Still to see his best.Barnsley a bit shakey, better V Scunny even after he spilt that shot.Bot talks all the time and looks a far better keepr than Cerny.Looks very slim. Will get better

Orr : At last a right back that gets down the line.As above, don't think at his best - but looks a very good signing.

Hill : He can head the ball he can tackle and positional wsie, gets in the right place. Not the quickest - but looks very solid.Thumbs up so far from me

Derry : As some one else has already pointed out - the leader on the picth without the armband.Again, settling in but looks just what we need.Links up wiell with the ver improving Faurlin

Mackie: Works his nuts off - thought he was ok Saturday and not at his best. But his commitment level is 100%.Thumbs up

Heider - Leaps like a salmon and although he missed couple of easy chances - works hard and scores.Think with a good run and help from another striker, will do well.
Adel : Not in your list - but would pay to watch him all day...but stop going down to easy.Refs will be watching

Overall - can't complain. All 5 have improved the team and that's all you can wish for rwally.

Hall and Heidar - poor signings - still need upgrading.
