I think alot of the resentful posts were because he was ex-Palace.

Considering the amount of pointless threads (and sigs) you had slating our new signings before a ball had even been played I suggest you wind your neck in a bit.

And some of them came from our friends from Palace. Derry too old, Hill a clogger, Warnock clueless and not as good as either Paul Hart or George Burley, along with the usual other sour grapes from miffed fans when their better players move on to better things. Such as claiming how wonderful the likes of Ambrose and McCarthy are.

I wonder when they wil have the good manners to come back and admit that as we told them, we are superior in every way. Unless of course there is merit to seeing who can sign the oldest player.

Got to hold my hands up, i was horrified when i saw we were trying to sign Derry during the close season but i can now see why Warnock brought him here. Every team needs someone like Derry, someone to protect the back 4 and put his foot in. Well pleased with him i am

Who had been out injured for nearly a year - who knows what he's like now.

Spot on 'bluehoopa' ....... I had my reservations about Derry when he signed for us, then after seeing him play on the west country tour, and, and, he hasn't an ounce of fat on his body, my reservations were blown away. To be honest, the majority of players who've come to Rangers .... I've not really know much about them, or their history, but the signings that Neil Warnock has made this season, have been just what our club has needed.
Whilst Adel has stolen the headlines, and rightly so, Shaun has gone about his job in a no nonsence commanding way, and put in a very decent shift in every game I've seen him play in a Hooped shirt.
I thought Shaun was outstanding again yesterday, and I'd give him my MOTM, it's not because of what he does with the ball when he has it, but also the work he does off the ball, something we've been missing for a long long time in the middle of the park ..... Can't wait for Derby on Saturday

Would this be a pertinent time and place to point out the Paladini had nothing to do with the recruitment of Derry and Hill?

I don't think he was even in the country at the time Warnock was getting these two in.....
