I was directly in line with it and the keeper definitely got a hand to it, although I don't think it was going in. Still great skill and fantastic effort though.

Watching a game of football...at the ground.. is so much different from watching a game live on TV.You tend to follow certain players watching at LR.Sometimes the game drifts in quite moments.At home you can make cup of Tea etc..

But watching the game live at the pitch,..i tend to watch players movements off the ball.

Listening to Hill and Derry always chivving players along.Watching Bradley Orr as a right back getting positions on the right wing, we could have only dreamt of last season.

But Faurlin esp yesterday just keeps digging in and breaking up play.And he is a skilfull player.

It's great to see the likes of Akos and Adel in the team...but for me with Matt C and A Faurlin we have two very good youngsters at our club.

Faurlin reminds me of Paul Scholes in the way he plays.

I'm not saying hes in Scholes class yet, but the similarities
are there, as hes always in space to receive the ball, then has
a very quick Brain to pick a pass.

Having said all that the only thing hes better than Scholes at is tackling.

Were you referring to me saying he is much too good for us?
If so, then I DO happen to think he is too good for any Championship side -- including us -- and I think a lot of people sense that -- which is why there is that fear that Faurlin, along with Taarabt, could be scouted and sold on before very long.
Both are too good for this level of football and footballers should always play at the highest level possible.
I just hope we can hold onto them for long enough, so that their Prem career starts with us and no-one else.
