Scunny will play 5 across the middle and try to stifle our midfield play makers. It happened to us with Magilton in charge and he didn't (seem to) know what to do about it. I trust NW to change our shape/plans to counter their tactics. It'll be a good indication of our resilience and versatility.

Well, I think it will be tougher than the Sheff Utd Game. They got a decent defence, Never really too a hemmering of anyone last season. I`ll go for a 2-1 to rangers. I think they`ll score against us

Bit worried Rangers fans are getting carried away (like we did on that great run last season). Yes enjoy it but there are still big weaknesses in the squad. I would be very surprised if Warnock is expecting to win 5-0 or whatever.

Agree, but preseason was full of goals which has carried over into the season itself. The hardest thing to get in a team is confidence and unity and it looks like we currently have buckloads of both. NW may not be expecting to win 5-0, but I bet the players are.

This will be a proper test of our credentials as potential promotion candidates... as others have said, in the past we'd **** this one up and come a right cropper but.. now have an experienced and tactically aware manager I think the 'old' Rangers is now a thing of the past(if that makes sense)...

NW will cover every angle as he has seen it all before.... cue embarrassing defeat.... Adkins is a shrewd guy and does wonders to keep Scunny in this division and I don't expect them to be too ambitious but think we'll have enough quality to win this one....

Am hoping that the crowd will play a part and encourage during the game rather than the *****ic booing and slagging off............

We are very lucky to have NW as our manager and he is starting to assemble a very good team that is playing some really decent football.............
