I hope the league don't rubber stamp before the debts to people like Motherwell are repaid.

Not sure the money owed to Motherwell is relevant as it isn't classed as a "domestic" debt.
Sure someone more in the know than I am will be able to confirm this?
Could start a precidence with the new ruling for homegrown players in Premier squads.
They should level the playing field by ensuring all clubs pay 100% of any players wages.
If you can't afford a players wages, he should be playing for you.
Its this blaise attitude to money and wages etc thats put football in this massive financial hole.
On a personal note, i fooking hate Cardiff and couldn't give a sheeite who they sign, the cheating bar stewards. We still got too much for them and i cant wait to beat the horrible sheep fiddlers.

cardiff fans seem to think that every club will consider playing them as a cup final http://www.ccmb.co.uk/fudforum/index...e2465810fb5ac1

Perhaps they could clamp him till they pay. It would be wonderful to see but I doubt it. It would be spectacularly foolhardy of the Welsh to let this slip. They won't.
I agree Chopra wanting to leave is now less likely. But I also agree that Cardiff need him less so might be happier he goes. Chopra's and Bellamy's games are similar. They can, though play together and if you could afford it you would keep both. But can they afford it? I guess Cardiff's new owners might be thinking like they did last year - **** or bust on getting promotion. They came close to bust this time. They will be difficult to beat. But on the bright side if they don't go up this year I honestly think that will be the end of them. No one would miss them. Start again in the Welsh League.
