  • Bellamy deal off?

Football league chairman wants to see proof they're up to date on payments. They still owe Motherwell dough as well.

    How funny would that be?

Haha, he'll be the most hated player in the division. Probably to his delight as he's the type of player to thrive off the abuse.

The league will rubber stamp it, by rights Cardiff should have been wound up by now and done us all a favour but they seem to be playing by a different set of rules to the rest of us!

They didn't even turn up to their court case for the Motherwell debt - that's how disrespectful they are. It is only £200,000 - to Motherwell that is a huge sum.

However, they will miraculously find the money now and pay them so the Bellamy deal can go through.

It should not be allowed - they can't pay Motherwell, yet they are allowed to sign a top player! Loan or no loan, subsidised by Man City or not - should not be allowed!!

Bellamy does not belong in this division. People say it shows that money isn't the only motivation - that is claptrap - the reason he won't agree to be sold to clubs like Fulham is that he will have a wage cut. A loan to Cardiff means he gets subsidised!

No chance of Chops leaving now he's got a chance to play alongside Bellamy.

Chopra won't leave and Bellamy is just the type of quality if not alot better that he has been crying out for. I really hope this deal is stopped because it is a disgrace that they seem to always have there own rules.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Unfortunately, no-one appears to have broken any rules, so it will be a done deal. Honestly, long term injuries (just for this season) to Bellamy, Koumas and Olafinjani (or whatever his name is) on 1 September would go a long way towards the perfect end to the summer.

'Break a Leg', chaps - go on...

Very similar players. Chopra is essentially the Lidl Bellamy. Can't see them playing together. Bothroyd and Bellamy, I'd assume would start unless Jones tries to shoehorn them into a 4-3-3 but that would leave their already less than physical midfield even weaker.

Yeah Motherwell are asking for their money back before they can pay the wages for Bellamy, which is good for us
