I don't know enough about walters so I would probably say no1 as I trust warnocks judgement and if hes neils no1 target then I hope he gets him. Don't take this as a 'well he's sh it anyway post' cheers.

id be very happy with walters.. i do feel however 3m if that is the figure.. could be spent more wisely.. however time is of essence we need a striker.. he can play uptop alone (according to my ipswich mate)

I did correct myself there mate...The message was simply '£3.2m accepted, he's at QPR as we speak' so I guess it was all about agreeing terms. Not a 'done deal' as such.

id be happy with walters, only one thing is scaring me a tad, and thats the fact he doesnt really want to come here, and if he does it will be cos none of the other more northern clubs linked with him dont actually offer anything concrete.
then he would be coming for the wrong reasons (ie to pick up his dough), and he could be well unsettled in the smoke and thus unsettle the team, and then we would have another vine/agemayng on our hands. swanning around in big motors lighting cigars off fiftys and sitting at home all day.

Don't get me wrong - would be happy that at last we're putting our money where our mouth is (if it happens) - just very frustrating that our transfer dealings are always such drawn out sagas. look at Bellamy, Monday it was rumoured he may be off to Cardiff, Tuesday a done deal. We've been "linked" to the like of Walters and Roberts for week.
