Jon walters wont put bums in seats but results will and results are al that matters...

In saying that if we sign walters i suspect more people will come along out of interest, then depending on results depends whether they continue to show or not...
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

Michael Owen was interviewed on Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek last Sunday - sure it's available on i player somewhere if you wish to find it? - and said he would NEVER drop slowly down the leagues to play football.

It's top class Premier or nothing. Wants to go out at the top and is quite happy to stay at Man Utd, even on the bench as he said he wants to always be around top quality players and watching the likes of Scholes, Giggs, Rooney etc even if he is not playing.

Hope that finally puts that one to bed.

Thought that might be the case; however, Owen may well find himself watching from the stand rather than the bench.

first point , Owen will never drop down a division
second, god forbid that useless Heskey joins qpr
third, we scored 7 in 2 games, why ruin a good start?

(by the way, I am not saying we are bringing in a big big name)
Not 2 or 3 thousand at LR but certainly many hundred I would guess

                Depends.

Big name striker or AM would put 2k on the gate initially but would need to sustain performances

We could get more bums on seats if we had more legroom in Platinum in SA Rd.,instead of me having to stand for fear of deep vein thrombosis.

Not seen Dexter on here in a while Gee, is he alright?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Isn't Owen on a pay as you play deal. Sitting back waiting isn't going to earn him anything.

some players put 'bums on seats',but this usually only lasts for a few games. Mostly it is success on the pitch that increases attendances (and prices).

Judging by a lot comments on the this board many will be flinging their season tickets at Warnock in disgust at his purchases.
