We meaning QPR? Yes of course because that's where the money is and football is about money not sport.

We including me? Not bothered. I want to watch entertaining football and hopefully see QPR win more often than we lose or draw. I'm not bothered about the Premiership. If I'm on my own with that statement then fair enough but TBH I don't think playing in a league where coming 17th is an achievement fills me we any excitement. I love being part of a league which is open and most of the time not money driven. Most of my friends support Football League clubs so other than finishing above them I don't personally have the same need as other fans who would like to finish above their friends team.

Interesting point actually and has got me thinking a bit. Would the reality of getting suffed every week and fighting for 17th be as enjoyable as doing well? Not sure.

Your only hope is that if we get to the promised land our owners start getting ambitous and we can look to compete, as per Fulham, in the top ten and maybe Europe.

Sirpie, i see your point but i see it as a defeatest attitude and i would much rather be playing in the premier and going for Europe rather than thinking that every season we are only looking at 17th best. I don't think i am alone in this.
Does this mean the same in the Championship that each season you want us to lose a few games in case the chance of promotion comes, you wouldn't want that would you, best we are losers eh!
I suggest you move along down to Brentford if you are happy with Football league football, or sit with Bernie, he doesn't want us promoted either.

dont be so keen for eveyone to sing from the same hymn book though, if people were not prepared to air opposing points of view this messageboard would be dull and in fact they would never have got going in the first place.

From what I have seen Walters is a good signing in that he will improve our team. is he worth 3.2M if thats the real fee only time will tell but if he is warnocks choice then thats all that matters at this point

we all have judged a player before he has played for us and it will always happen no matter what.. it is what people do, but to the doubters (not aimed at you PeterG) who like me doubted derry and hill when they first came look at them now! Walters will follow suit under the guidance of warnock.. he knows what he is doing

I don't know about others but for me I'm not doubting Walters for a minute, it's the price tag of 3.2m, I'm sure we could have got a better deal on him.

3.2m... we are QPR and we've never spent that kind of money before, we don't have money to gamble or throw away, we need another 1 to 2 players and I don't want our club to spend all of it on one player.

Don't get me wrong I'm so pleased our current board are backing the best manager we've had for a very long time, we've all been waiting for this day for years, I trust Neil Warnock and I feel he has lived up to expectations with 99% of all he's signings made.

If Neil thinks Walters is worth 3.2 million then so it be, I'm not used to us spending money like this and don't want it to hurt us as a football club, I'm sure we've seen it before right, it happens in football.

Do I think Walters will be crap player, not for a minute and trust Neil 100%.

I know it's not my money but it sure feels like it when it's coming out of our club.

I'm nervous more than anything else.
