Good news about Walters but I'm doubting you on Warnock blowing the rest of the budget on one player. Warnock has repeatedly stated publically (along with Mick Jones) that we are after two if not three more players. Warnock has also stated that all signings whether loan or permanent will be made within a set budget (he stated this on 5Live a couple of weeks ago) meaning that if the entire budget had be spent on Walters then there is no money to bring in Roberts even on loan . If the budget has been spent its been spent and he would be the last player to sign. Now you could be right and when Walters is announced Warnock could publically announce that his dealings within the transfer market is complete but why just a few days ago live on SSN say that Chairman is trying to do deal for two players if only one player can be signed?

I'm not going to doubt anyone who comes on this website and states information they've heard. Sometimes they will be right and sometimes they will be wrong but on SSN on Sunday Warnock stated that he the Chairman is trying to do deal for two players. As I said I'm not doubting you or anyone else but I heard Neil Warnock say that. I've read comments from Mick Jones stating how many we are trying to sign and we all know Warnock has said repeatedly that he is trying to put a squad together. Therefore why would he spend all the remaining budget on one player? Either he believes the squad is complete or he is an idiot as every QPR fan would say we are short of options (quality options) upfront.

I hope you are wrong and that someone like QPRSouth or Goddard is right and not because of blind optimism but because Warnock has said he is putting together a squad and not just buying one more player. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

No quite the opposite. He has stated that he has a budget and he is working within that budget but if a player comes available and the cost falls outside of that budget he'll go to the Chairmen and ask to be supported.

He was on 5live before the season started in a 3 hour preview and stated that he has a budget and so far (pre-Taraabt) that he had only spent £900k on all of the signings.
