if you are going to go to 20+ games you may as well get a season ticket.
Renewing is a completely personal thing, as each match day experience i different, you cannot speak for the Majority, i for one have renewed as i have done for the past countless seasons, there have been far worse seasons than last season and even though the season ticket was lower the quality was considerably lower too. Also as a match day experience, the food the programme the beer the pie will all add to the cost. Those who say its away games only for me, i bet if you totted up your total expenditure for all last seasons away game, then i imagine if you went to more than 10 or 12 then you would be close to a price of a season ticket.

A Top 6 team needs a strong home record and a full loftus rd is an intimidating place for any team to visit.

havent renewed as yet. Waiting to see if there is any ambition from the club for next season. Get a decent manager and buy some decent players then ill renew otherwise wont bother with my familys 4 season tkts, just go to some odd games.

No not renewing for the first time in ten years.

A number of reasons why: cost v match day experience (way too much); Too many night games that I cant get to due to work; The way the club are being run in respect of the treatment of fans; Uncertaintity of new manager / players (show of intent from the board) and rubbish footbal on view by players (some of who are not fit to clean Stan's boots, let alone play on the same hallowed turf)

I think my reasons are very justified at present and that is very sad indeed.

The benefits of renewing a season ticket are too small. The savings against match by match purchase are nil if you exclude the games missed by work or other personal commitments.
This will be the first time that my son & I have not renewed in 25 years! We will always be loyal to the team & probably see as many games as before. We refuse to be conned into giving £1200 in advance to a board more interested in attracting the ‘prawn sandwich brigade’ than true football fans. The so called improvement in ‘ the match day experience’ has not gone further than the corporate sector. We are still wedged into seats that give no leg room for the average person and toilets that have improved little since the corrugated tin hut on the Sth.Africa Road terrace of the 50’s. The pies are still either cold or sold out before half time! The beer is priced as champagne but tastes of shampoo! We don’t even have regular half time entertainment. Come on you R’s

Season tickets went out of fashion when footballers became mercenaries. It takes fans longer to catch up because on the whole fans are loyal therefore dumb.

Pick and choose the games. Why be a slave when you can be master.

valid point pity the club would seemingly rather have a half filled stadium of punters who feel ripped off than a steaming cauldron full of happy rangers fans then isnt it.

Havent renewed and unlikely to as things stand.

one from Egham not renewing (3 if you include my daughters) ...back to picking and choosing for us ...looks a better decision by the day based on the rumoured managerial shortlist! ...if the club show a bit of ambition I may still be swayed to dig deep ...if they had installed Keane or Curbs as manager I think I may have been swayed already!

If you are looking for VFM from a football club, which is a strange concept if you are a fan i hear Fulham are doing some good deals this year.

Fan/fanatic (n.) a person motivated by irrational enthusiasm (as for a cause) : "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject"--Winston Churchill
Fan/fanatic (adj.) marked by excessive enthusiasm for and intense devotion to a cause or idea : "rabid isolationist"
A man who has not made a mistake has made nothing

                          Mr M
Agree generally with your description and thats what most of us are.

How far have the club gone down the wrong route when fanatics like myself, Funky and others who have dragged themselves to places like grimsby, hartlepool, vauxhall motors, chesterfield etc etc etc in sleet hail, blizzards and storms year after year without even a consideration about ducking the game, now are unsure if they are even going to renew their season ticket.

too far i would suggest, they need to have a serious word with themselves before its too late

Don't want to give false hope, and details are sketchy at this stage, but think its going to be better than we think next month or so.

                            lets just wait and see.

I haven't renewed and won't renew unless we start showing some promise ON THE PITCH.

Money is not the problem here, I just feel flat. I have tried changing the way i feel but unfortunately it's a natural feeling and it won't change until we start showing true ambition.

Anyone that thinks last season was improvement is badly misinformed. We played far inferior football, having spent alot more money & finished a few places higher......I would say we stood still whilst making ourselves look stupid with slap dash changes in management.

Our fans deserve better but Flav doesn't care.

First time in 23 years that I won't have a season ticket. Neither will hubby. Simply too much money (amongst other things). Have renewed for the girls though. Might look to get a half season ticket around Christmas time if we have the money.

Sad thing is, though it's gutting, I'm not as devastated as I would have been a few years ago. Still love the club as much as ever but the past year has kind of made me feel it doesn't love me as much as I love it.

Anyway, come on u rrrrrrrrs and roll on June 17th ;D
