I'd like to apologise to you because I was one of those fans who thought you couldn't improve but you just proved me very wrong and I'm so pleased for you.

Hope you continue to play as you are and you will have my full backing.

Well done... egg on my face.

Still yet to be 100% convinced by him, though one cannot deny that he has definately added a finishing product to his game which he has never had. Keep going son.

Ephraim by all accounts shone in Sheffield and had a good game against Barnsley but it's still only two matches into a long old season. If we were to sign Walters then I'd expect that Ephraim will have a fight on his hands to keep his place.

He's done very well so far but he will have to keep scoring and keep making assists to stay in the side especially with the possibility of new signings and the return of Buzsaky.

2 games and very good two games, he also took his goal very well... that's a player on top form.

You are right but his performances and the rest of the teams should be judged after about 10 matches. Then and only then will we have a true reflection of where we are as a side.

You are right and I don't disagree with you at all but when you are playing well and winning games, you get self belief and grow in confidence which will help us gain maximum points within that 10 game period.

Let's say we lost the first two games and he/the team didn't play well, a whole new ball game then.

We fans/players and the club must be flying high right now which means if we go down would believe that we can still come back and win.

Agreed. It's great being a QPR fan at the moment but I remember us all getting too carried away with Ledesma only to be disappointed. Ephraim has to date struggled to performance consistantly for us so it's great that he has had two good games in a row but he needs to do this 8 out of every 10 matches and not just the few times he has performed since he joined the club.

                First goal since Jan 2009...

in my opinion he is far too lightweight and a poor mans Mackie... a very poor mans Mackie

Doesn't stop me from supporting him but in the long haul I don't think he's a promotion worthy player, and once Buzz and new signings are in the mix I can't see him lasting as first XI

Cannot believe I'm being negative right now I'll end this post with a positive Jamie Mackie is a top player and I swear if he scored a play off final goal for us he may burst into flames

I know Jamie Mackie is on fire and he seems to be a fans favorite at the moment.

I sadly didn't go to the Sheffield United game on account of me being a jinx there. Anyway in SM's report he said about how in the first few minutes he went flying through their full back. He's willing to get his hands dirty, he nicks in to score easy goals which we never did last season. Seriously last season every goal we scored had to be a well worked move, then teams like Coventry would give it a big lump and someone would get an easy tap in.
I really think he's going to be a class signing for us and although Taarabt is the influencial player going forward Adel can definitely still learn from Mackie

WTF - Anyone can have a good game every now and then. Lets review this later in the season shall we... FFS we are 2 league games in. This just shows how fickle our support base is. Take Ramage on Saturday. He tried that 40 yard pass cross field pass that was too long for Hogan I think. If we were losing one nil on Saturday he would of got roasted. Then again if it was Hall and we were three nil up he still would of got roasted. I've always said Hogan has the skill, his problem is using it and using it at the right time. So far so good, but he doesn't become a Rangers Super Star after 2 frigging games!

No one is saying that he's a superstar, I'm saying that I felt along with others that he couldn't improve anymore. He had a great pre-season and started both games we played where he left off.

I feel we should praise him, why not?

Always felt Hogan had great potential and am glad to see him doing well so far.
Last season he was hampered by the shin splint problem, followed by needing an op for the bone spur problem he had -- so was always fighting against injuries.
Like Connolly and the glandular fever, I think people are unfair to judge him on last season, or previous seasons when he was two years younger and dealing with a new manager every 5 minutes.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

My biggest problem with Ephraim is that if you put him in a league 2 side, would he stand out?

Mackie would, Tarrabt definitely would, Helguson and even Leon Clarke would, but Ephraim doesn't have that tenacity and although he tries he is far too lightweight. Ephraim unless he's having a fantastic day is a full backs dream, not pacy and easy to intimidate.
