My biggest problem with Ephraim is that if you put him in a league 2 side, would he stand out?

Mackie would, Tarrabt definitely would, Helguson and even Leon Clarke would, but Ephraim doesn't have that tenacity and although he tries he is far too lightweight. Ephraim unless he's having a fantastic day is a full backs dream, not pacy and easy to intimidate.

Why mention a league 2 side?

Yes, I know I AM THICK(must be) but why not give a fairly young player credit when credit seems to be due.:shy::shy:

I'm all for giving credit... but I feel there are a lot more players in are team who deserve it more than Ephraim.

My personal opinion is that we have 9 players from that lineup who are more than capable of keeping us right at the top of this league. As discussed, by the end of the transfer window it's likely someone will be brought in to replace Helguson, although I think Heidar has a lot more to give yet. But I think in a team looking to succeed Ephraim isn't upto scratch

and why is credit due because he had one good game? He has spent months playing in an advanced position and that is his first goal in 20 months.
