Now would be a good time to start the bidding.

Barring his penalty miss, I thought he had an excelent game. Ok, he messed up his control of the ball at one stage, but other than that his running and vission was exceptional.

Got to say...that was one of the worst penalties ever though

there is no way leeds would let him go, even if we offer the 3 mill he is probably worth. which we wont do anyway.

      Everyone has a price mate.
Also, if he gets offered football on a higher level, I'm sure he'd be interested.

sure, everybody does have a price.. but is it a price our owners are likely to pay? history says no.

also, Ken 'Master' Bates wouldnt risk the wrath of the leeds fans by selling him.

At his age I dont think he wants to spend another season in league 1, we should test their resolve with a 2m bid, if anything at least it would show us the fans a bit of intent from the board's behalf!

Looking at one fo the Leeds boards, they all seem to have come to terms that losing last night means that they will be losing Beckford, Delph and Douglas.

as with Nodge wouldnt touch Beckford with a bargepole, as if his attitude wasnt bad enough, his proven failure at this level and a £3m pricetag are sure enough reasons to stay well away....

a Wolves/Birmingham will have a punt in desperation, or if not them then Dull will slap their parachute payments at him

I agree with Nodge. Beckford was rubbish last night. Ok I will ignore the penalty miss, which I may add was a shocker. The problem is that he has to much pace and not enough control. His close control was woeful and he had 2 very good opportunitys to score and he fluffed both. 1 he was put through his pace got him in a great position but because he tried to get it on his right foot his control once again let him down and the defender got to him before he could get a shot on goal. Not a good championship player in my eyes. Don't know much about Douglas but I thought both Millwall and leeds looked shite. I'd be happy to beat millwall next season if they go up and thats a big IF. However this won't happen unless we do bring in a proven striker which may I remind u is not Beckford
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
