Don't understand this post at all. The guy is playing well......a lot of players are greedy and selfish, especially around scoring goals - they rarely play for the team. And those greedy and selfish players are often the best. Ian Wright is an Arsenal legand and self confessed greedy and selfish player that played for himself first and the team second....there are tons of other examples.

I would want all my players to be demanding the ball for a penalty. Yes - NW needs to tell the players who is the penalty taker....until then I would want to see players stepping up.

Besides, it's not like it's a hugely negative post, is it? I'm just pointing out some facts mate, that's all. Heider is a striker, and a confidence one at that. Goals are what makes them tick, and it's not like HH missed his pen, so I don't get why Taarabt has to be the one to take them.

And also, you're missing the point mate. If a player picks up the ball to take the pen, only for someone to grab it from him, it's hardly going to make the other lad feel great, is it? What we're saying is that Warnock needs to address this and pick a penalty taker before this gets out of hand. It's not right to have your players all row about who's taking each free kick and each penalty, is it? It's not just Heider who may get the hump either. If I was playing for a team and one of them kept taking the ball from his team mates at every set piece, I'd be a little wound up as it does come accross a bit 'Charlie big potatoes'

Like I said, it's not a negative moan. I'm just saying NW needs to sort this asap. If he picks Taarabt, that's fine with me, as he's a good pen taker, but let's not make out he's allowed to do what he pleases, when it pleases him. The days of Bowles and Marsh are gone. We need a real team spirit, and that means letting players know where they stand and that they be treated like equals. The difference in paypacks should be the only thing seperating them...nothing else.

Adel had the ball, HH tried to take it from him, not the other way round.
Despite not scoring, HH looked full of confidence today and seemed more than happy when the others scored.
Adel, as someone else pointed out, is an "it's-my-ball" player just like many of the great flair players of the past -- INCLUDING STAN THE MAN!!!!!
Why can't some of you just accept him for what he is and and enjoy watching him while you can -- because, if he keeps this up, we might not have him for long.

Simply making the point I guess, who is the penalty taker. Its a minor issue, but like a club captain, it should be known before the game starts who is to take the penalties to avoid any arguments

agreed, just publicly name adel as our penalty taker to the fans who wont accept he is anyway, and tell that watford lummox to do one, cos he wont even be in the side ever again anyway, yesterday was his last game as first choice going by the noises warnock is making.

My point exactly Pete, but some planks have to try and insult other fans intelligence by missing the point. Ironic really mate, and very frustrating as these folk can't have a decent debate without getting all defensive and nut hugging Taarabt. They seem to make out I'm slating Tasrabt, when all I'm doing is stating the obvious...NW needs to sort this. It's all about team morale.

do clubs usually make a press statement naming their penalty taker then?
ive never heard of it, so why should we do it?
adels taken on the job,he hasnt missed and no-one will ever take over the job from him now unless he misses a few.

No, but the vast majority know who their teams pen taker is and no other player attempts to take it on. As I said, I'm happy with Adel, but if he's our pen taker, Hh, Rowlands, Faurlin and any other pretender should know this.

And for the record, if Rowly makes it as a regular first teamer, I'd personally have him ahead of Taarabt, but that's just my opinion. Unfortunately, I don't see Rowly getting that much game time. Unless he takes Derry's role, but I can't see it happening.

Benny, I totally agree with you, its just that someone said earlier that Adel picked the ball up and it was HH trying to take it from HIM. But yeah, none of this would be an issue if there was an appointed pen taker.

I am not a plank or insulting your intelligence, just saying I don't understand what the greed and arrogance bit is all about. I agree that the taker should be sorted.
