Although I do admit, a great start, very similar to Magilton... until the Leicester game.
hence why he wants a few more in... although, we are without,

    Rowlands and Buzz,

and with maybe one or two in we look a lot stronger

every sinlge player warnock has brought in to this club as a first team regular is a top top team player.
salute kenny, salute hill, salute orr, salute derry, salute mackie and salute taarabt.
look at them names, look at them give everything, look at them when we score and realise, this is our year.

i love constructive criticism but this talk is madness.
hall went off today and ramage came on and we never leaked a single goal against our deadliest and most venemous rivals in this division at THEIR ground, THEIR fortress.
come on guys, forget the past, this is the future.
We have absolutely no pace at the back and are lacking in defensive cover. As I said before Sheff Utd are going through a bad patch and now have subsequently parted company with their manager. Reports suggested we rode our luck a little last week (I wasn't at the game) before thumping Barnsley.

Take nothing away from the lads its a results business but this weeks defeat to Port Vale demonstrated we have no strength in depth at all and your deluded if you think we have. Until we start demonstrating some consistency over a number of matches not 2 then we must keep our hopes for the season realistic.

You sound like an excitable teenager and its becoming a little embarrassing reading your posts.

I love your optimism and fully agree. Not surprising though is it when the quality players we have are given a proper manager. One that is not impressed with previous reputations, price tags and salaries. Just good old fashioned team building and management.

how different are we to the likes of w12 ranger.

oh and by the w12 mate, i have never ever ever given us any hope in anything, fa cup final, play off final cos im usually like you, a rangers fan who knows we never deliver, but this season my years of eperience have just told me this division is weak and we have the best men for the job from the top down me old mate.

Do we really have plenty of cover in defence and midfield? We made 2 changes in both against Port Vale and we were hammered by a league 2 side. Ramage is good (the defence looked much better against Plymouth when he replaced Hall) but who else do we have?

Have you been to any games this season?

Our starting 11 is probably the best in this division. But we have no depth in the squad. If we are unlucky enough to have our usual couple of long term injuries we will be in big trouble....

been to both home games and got let down on going today by a pisshed and didnt fancy it alone.
stop harping on about port vale, neil told us to forget it before the match.
no-one cares about it. varney and clarke and helguson will be fair cover when the striker gets here.
and im not insulting mine or your intelligence by mentioning buzz, rowly, cook, parker , german and connoly etc etc.

                  I'll say this:

i am surprised by the start, I still believe this squad isnt as good as last years. however, warnock has them all playing for eachother which magilton didnt.

im happy to doubt rangers till last day and be proved wrong.

again if we keep this form, we will have our 'first real test' when we go on a bad streak. like with magilton.. derby, preston and reading.. all singing we are going up. then 1 loss and we fell apart and our season was over.

its about character and i feel warnock has got some steel in our team to deal with any such bad run of form.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                  Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Your optimism is built on nothing other than blind faith. When we get a result you like to give it the old 'I told you so' routine like you know something the rest of us don't.

We've started well, Warnock appears to be untangling Paladinis mess slowly but surely and its all positive on the pitch in the league at least but no one knows how this will pan out at this stage especially. If one thing I have learnt as a QPR fan is that a good result like this against Sheff Utd is usually followed by a poor performance and defeat against the likes of S****horpe and like you years of experience have taught me that.

I'll be giving it a good 15 matches before giving a verdict on where our season could end up and any Rangers fan with half a brain will be doing the same.

What do you mean stop harping on about Port Vale? That is the only time we have made changes to the starting 11 and we got slaughtered. Clarke fair cover? are you sure? Varney? Have we signed him?

Let's hope we continue as we have.........

I don't care about the cups either (it didn't cost me anything to go to the game), but the fact it was a chance to look at our fringe players which didn't exactly fill me with confidence.

And if as has been said NW didn't care about this game then perhaps he should reimburse those fans who spent good money to turn up........

and that will never ever happen again (untill maybe the fa cup).
at most you lose one player and maybe two.
whats all this depth bullocks about.
and im pretty certain varney is inevitable and we all know a striker will come

untill we add more depth i am not sure if we can finish top 2, don't get me wrong i am very happy with our start but if we do get any injuries/players on red cards then we will suffer with the lack of cover.. if we get 1 striker and 1 more defender and an attacking player i will firmly believe we have a real good shot of wining the league
