I read somewhere that Warnock is trying to add a few young midfielders to our squad as well.

I'm very happy with the start we've made, but I'm not going to get carried away just yet.
      Still 44 games to go.

We've started well, Warnock appears to be untangling Paladinis mess slowly but surely and its all positive on the pitch in the league at least but no one knows how this will pan out at this stage especially. If one thing I have learnt as a QPR fan is that a good result like this against Sheff Utd is usually followed by a poor performance and defeat against the likes of S****horpe and like you years of experience have taught me that.

I'll be giving it a good 15 matches before giving a verdict on where our season could end up and any Rangers fan with half a brain will be doing the same.
It's not built on blind faith, it is exactly the way we should all feel and we should all, to a man, be conveying that faith and optimism to the players.

I have absolutely no doubt, that as a Rangers fan, you want us to do well as much as any fan, despite your understandable reservations. But to achieve this, we need to, collectively, convey this feeling, optimism, faith and belief to the team. Only then, will they carry it on to the stage where we at last achieve what we are all hoping for. If we do not, it will not happen.

So when you hear songs such as "The R's are going up", don't suggest we are getting ahead of ourselves, just try believing now is the time and enjoy the optimism. Trust me, you will enjoy it all the more, when it happens and you spent all season knowing that it would.

I may be deluded, but I was there in both the 70's and the 80's and witnessed it on both occasions. I look forward to that feeling again.

I guess I'm of the mindset that I have been let down by the Board over the past 3 years as a fan. I got excited last October under Magilton , hell I thought Ollie was going to take us to the promised land after 7 straight wins but this time it will take more to convince me. I understand your sentiment and its a good response but I will continue to exercise on the side of caution until I feel confident that yes this is our season.

It's got a lot to do with seeing it all before. Both the good and the bad.

Is there a starting 11 anywhere in this division, better than what we can put out ? No, there is not. Not a chance.

Have we got the strength in depth that is required to win the league at a canter ? Not yet, but with the signings that have been and will continue to be made, without a doubt.

Have we got a proper manager at last ? Oh Yes, most definately.

Do we need to spend millions ? No, that is not what is needed. What is needed is that we all get behind the players and the manager, who will be doing the best that they can under NW and just need us to recognise the fact, believe in them and support them.

            Simple really.

Nothing makes me more frustrated than people claiming that we need to spend X amount on Y player. Individuals do not count. Never have and never will, unless they fit into the team.

Support your team, through the good times and the bad and we will reap the rewards.

Moan about players, whinge about the prices, criticise the boards spending ?
Fine, if that's the way you feel, carry on. But do not do so and expect success, it won't happen.

You were indeed let down over the last 3 years, by both the board and the players. Very badly. Therefore it is understandable that you feel the way you do.

Under Magilton ? Yes, we played some good stuff for a while, but too late and not for long enough.

As I am sure you are well aware, there is no such thing as a guarantee. But I know you are an intelligent guy, despite having different views from me on certain matters and I'm sure that you know for a fact that getting behind the team/ club/players/manager will produce a more positive outcome than doing otherwise.

Sorry if this sounds patronising, but who was Stan Bowles when he arrived ? Nothing other than a failure/disappointment/disruptive influence, wherever he had been. He turned out to be not only one of the greatest players we have had, but a better player than the majority of clubs in Britain will ever have. Only mentioning this due to the lack of exitement at the signing of Mackie a few weeks back and our friend Paul Mason's opinions on Adel.

In the eighties we were fortunate enough to be watching the likes of Glen Roeder, John Gregory, Clive Allen, Paul Goddard etc. Difference is, they had our full support, but we didn't have billionaire owners then. They were promoted, with I believe a record points total at the time. Belief can be a wonderful thing. Mine may be misguided, but will always be there. I'm hoping that my insane ramblings can encourage a few "doubters" over to the positive side. It really is much more enjoyable. Hope you find that it is also.:pleasantsuprise:

I am not being negative here just realistic when I say we have not yet seen us concede a goal, this is when you will see the real team spirit and the belief they can turn it around.
