Membership cards this season are bright pink so as to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and I think its an excellent idea

Yes, a very worthy cause. I believe the Barmy Army are doing summer for Breast Cancer when England go over for the Ashes. Glenn McGrath lost his wife to breast cancer.

Peter, the Ladies of the LSA had been asking for years if they could have Pink membership cards so the committee relented this year and came up with the idea that if we have pink we should use it to support one of the Breast Cancer charities.

For every Pink card we issue this season the LSA will make a donation to Breakthrough Breast Cancer and I would imagine we will do some other fundraising as well. I've also been given individual donations by people.

The more members we get the more we raise, anyone wishing to join/renew can PM me for details.
