A few years ago I went for a few beers in London with a Russian QPR fan who had travelled over from St Petersberg to see a game and last night I bumped in to him again in the Springbok

Seems he managed to get a job in Guildford through his company in Russia and now is a very proud season ticket holder and is going to Sheffield on Saturday

A really committed supporter so if you happen to meet him at QPR please make him as welcome as possible and he said he will start posting shortly

Yes one of us from the former Soviet Union got lucky with a job in London. At the same time two guys who support QPR in the Ukraine have been unable to fly to the UK and attend a single game yet. Hoping to do so next year. Compared to them, I feel like a spoiled brat, flying in and attending 3-4 home games every season. Count your blessings.
