In my opinion this is a good reality check. We are never going to win the cup, we may have had a big club in round 4 away but we wouldn't go more than round 4. NW will have learnt a lot from this poor effort. We will now go into Saturdays game with our feet firmly on the ground. The board will now take seriously our need for a striker or two ahead of the window closing. Imagine if we had won 4,5,6 nil after Barnsley they would probably think we didn't need anyone. We will do better against the blades, might not win but it will be better. August the 11th gives us 20 days to sort out some more new faces and get rid of players that will not feature. Lets all not start writing off this season yet, it is only August 11th. Onwards and upwards, I for one will be happy with a top 6 position come May, higher would be great but we ain't going to do anything if we jump all over our team in August.

Goos post. Hopefully he's now realised the issues with legs in the middle and hogan playing anywhere on the pitch
