  • Literally couldnt care less...

Warnock said it would be a chance for fringe players/youth.

You come up against a lower league team who are dependant on cup money, there gonna be fighting there heart out. Seasond pro's against youth and mostly 2nd choice players.

He took a gamble, and in fairness we all care mostly about the league. Twindling crowd figures last year showed managers are more intent on doing well in the league then they are the cup, and this will be shown again this season...

Fact is we aint gonna win it so the extra fixtures prove to be more of a annoyance than anything else...

No Kaspers, No Hill, No Adel, No Helguson, No Faurlin... Had they played it might have been different.

In saying all of that, we had about 5 chances to score and win the game, take in to account how different the match may have been if Clarke had put away his first chance then we may well have won.

Still im really not that upset, I wonder how many would have complained had he played Adel and he had taken a knock and been out for 4 weeks.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

I give it till about the end of October, new players do take some time to gel.

However, tonights result is disappointing but we can do without these matches TBH adds to risk of early season injuries as well.

              Bradford 2-1 Nottingham Forest
              Barnsley 0-1 Rochdale
              Doncaster 1-2 Accrington Stanley
              Morcambe 2-0 Coventry
              QPR 1-3 Port Vale
              Southend 3-2 Bristol City

I mean seriously people, just go's to show how even Championship clubs now arnt takeing the carling cup very seriously...

Even if we did get say Chelsea in the 3rd round, we would put out a strong side purely to keep the scoreline down, not because we expect to win the game, and then if we do win its a complete bonus.

Shame cos the cup used to be a glourious comp, but its just the way it is these days. Bread and butter, thats all its about.

"SORT IT OUT WARNOCK" .....Totally cringe. I heard more but i shudder to think them.

i agree after calming down i am starting to see the logic behind it although that still does not give an excuse for the woeful display

Well too be honest he does. Strikers much needed with a couple of more decent defenders and maybe another decent midfielde.r
